Buyout
Investments

ACA’s buyout investments are those aimed to unlock an investee company’s growth potential and ultimately enhance its corporate value. We make this happen not only in the capacity of a shareholder with a majority of voting rights of an investee company but also by directly getting involved in its management with hands-on measures, such as dispatching key management team, reassessing its growth strategies, and restructuring of operations. By doing so, we can cater for such needs as the sale of shares held by owners in response to their business succession needs where they have no successor, management buyout (MBO) by the management team, and the spin-off of non-core businesses of a company that operates multiple lines of business.

Equity
Investments

ACA’s growth equity investments are those aimed to increase corporate value through measures to drive the growth of companies. Specifically, we proactively support the management and business expansion of companies that have built competitive advantage through the delivery of innovative products/solutions or through creative business management, and thus have outstanding growth potential, by supplying risk capital according to their growth stages. At ACA, seasoned professionals based in Japan and Singapore help companies accelerate their growth throughout the processes ranging from developing business strategies and capital policies for acceleration of growth to weaving such strategies/policies into the minds of frontline workers, and even to implementing such strategies/policies as needed, by fully leveraging its broad network of personal contacts primarily in Asia, which the Group has garnered since its inception.

Secondary
Investments

ACA’s Secondary Investments are those through secondary purchases, which provide liquidity to company shares, corporate or other bonds, and equity in investment funds, to which traditional funds have difficulty in providing solutions. ACA solves the issues of financial institutions, non-financial companies, management executives, owners of a company, investors, and minority shareholders with a variety of financial techniques, and propels further growth of companies after investing in them.
